Sundays tend to go by at a slow pace. A day to relax and enjoy the sunset after a good day of flying.

This weeks video of the week is a peak into the world of base jumper extraordinaire Alexander Polli. After roaming the cliffs of the world in his tracking suit for a few years, he has now taken up wingsuit proximity flying. With Alex you should always expect the unexpected, in a good way that is, and this video certainly does not let anyone down. Way to go Alex!

Congratulations Gary! This is simply an awesome stunt by stuntman and wingsuit pilot Gary Connery. Speak about slow flying, perfect setup and a timed stall just before impact into the humongous pile of cardboard boxes!
My friend Tigernbase.com posted this video as well on his blog which shows different angle:

I would like to introduce Nikolaj, my good friend and traveling buddy from 2011. Nikolaj and I travelled Romsdalen, Switzerland and The Dolomites last year – what an epic trip. After tracking and doing aerials throughout his base jumping life, he decided last year that it was time to venture into wingsuit flying from the cliffs. So here’s a video from Nikolaj’s first year with the Phoenix Fly Prodigy 2.
The video was shot in Norway and Switzerland.
Nikolaj and I have planned a couple of trips for 2012. This year he will be flying his new Phoenix Fly Phantom 3, which he tested over sunny Skydive Portugal in
March. I will try to persuade him to write a couple of articles here on AdventureRocket in the coming months. I know he is really happy with his new Phantom 3, so maybe he will write about this experience when he get’s a chance to jump it form the vertical cliffs of Norway or the likes.
