Here’s a little flashback to last summer in Norway. Just wanted to share the feeling of base jumping off the edge, flying from Smellveggen exit to landing at the Lower Ladder landing area. So the video and sound is uncut from my gopro, to share my point of view. At the exit I was trying to convince my friend Martin, who jumped with me, to land in the water just for the fun of it – but he did not seem very hooked on this particular idea.
The year before I actually decided myself to test out the Lysefjord water temperature.Take a look at these screen grabs from the video – sorry about the poor quality, but I decided to leave my Canon 5D behind on this jump.
If you want to see the waterlanding in the Lysefjord, it is the last part of this video from 2011:
Spending a little time at Kjerag. A few days ago I brought my camera to the mountain to catch some of the action.
It’s here, the official video from the base jumping and climbing expedition to Colombian Sierra Nevada del Cocuy. Truly looks like an awesome team and a magnificent place on earth to visit! Read the full article here and get a unique insight into their struggles to succeed on their quest.

I would like to introduce Nikolaj, my good friend and traveling buddy from 2011. Nikolaj and I travelled Romsdalen, Switzerland and The Dolomites last year – what an epic trip. After tracking and doing aerials throughout his base jumping life, he decided last year that it was time to venture into wingsuit flying from the cliffs. So here’s a video from Nikolaj’s first year with the Phoenix Fly Prodigy 2.
The video was shot in Norway and Switzerland.
Nikolaj and I have planned a couple of trips for 2012. This year he will be flying his new Phoenix Fly Phantom 3, which he tested over sunny Skydive Portugal in
March. I will try to persuade him to write a couple of articles here on AdventureRocket in the coming months. I know he is really happy with his new Phantom 3, so maybe he will write about this experience when he get’s a chance to jump it form the vertical cliffs of Norway or the likes.
I was travelling with my friend Nikolaj through Europe last summer. One sunny morning we came across this nice concrete structure. Luckily our rigs very already in slider down configuration :-).
